A Brief History
1992- started by Marjory Trott and Jim Patrick
started at Gordon Folger House
original idea was to be a one weekend festival of local writers
Directed by Neville Richen and Virginia Irwin
1993- The lawn of the Atheneum
performed with "The Griots": Neville Richen, Jim Nettles, and Rocky Fox
1995- showcase at Bennet Hall with TWN
1997- began reading plays aloud
1998- arranged with Richard Cary's "Actor's Theater" to perform in their space in the Methodist Church
1999- Molly Martin starts Improv Troupe
2002- we perform upstairs at Methodist Church
2003- Bruce Yancy takes over
2004- 1st Cupid's Nightmare
TWN takes over the Lease at Methodist Church
2010- Christy takes over
started reading at Orange Door
2011- shows at the Rose and Crown
2018-Christy passes the stapler to Pete and we move away from paper.
2019 to 2021- ‘Rona stalks and we move to virtual meetings and performances.
2022-marvelous live Cupid’s Nightmare Show at a sold-out Gaslight pub!
